Measurement of the Deep Inelastic ep Scattering Cross Section using the Backward Silicon Tracker of the H1 experiment at HERA — •Wladimir Arkadov — DESY-Zeuthen
An analysis of deep inelastic scattering data at low Q2
(2 GeV2 < Q2 < 15 GeV2) taken with the H1 experiment in 1997 is
presented. It is explained how the new Backward Silicon Tracker (BST)
is
used for electron identification, photoproduction rejection and
Z-vertex
reconstruction. Finally, the measurement of the Deep Inelastic ep
Scattering Cross Section at Low Q2 is presented.
