The ratios E2/M1 and C2/M1 for the electroproduction of the Δ(1232) have always deserved special attention, both experimental and theoretically, in the studies of the nucleon structure. We present the results for these ratios in the interval of photon virtuality 0<−q2<1 GeV2 and compare them with the most recent experimental data (e.g. from Bonn-ELSA and CEBAF.) The ratios are obtained using the SU(2) and SU(3) flavour chiral quark–soliton model [1], which is treated in the framework of large number of colours (Nc). The comparison with the experiment shows both some underestimation of the experimental results and a good agreement for the dependence of the ratios with −q2 [2].
