Density of States and Its Mesoscopic Fluctuations in One–Channel Aharono v–Bohm Rings — •Heiko Feldmann and Enver Nakhmedov — Institut für theoretische Physik, Universität Würzburg, Am Hub land, 97074 Würzburg

A new diagrammatic method, which is a reformulation of Berezinskii’s technique, is constructed to study the distribution function of the density of electronic states (DoS) of one–channel weakly disordered rings. The exact results obtained show that the DoS oscillates with the flux quantum Φ0=h c/e, while its moments are dominated by oscillations with a period of Φ0/2. For large rings compared to the elastic scattering length, we find a logarithmic normal distribution.
