Measurements of radionuclides produced by thermal neutrons and neutron activations calculated in the actual dosimetriy system DS86 show discrepancies up to one order of magnitude for distances of 1500m from the epicenter. To reexamine the calculated neutron fluences in Hiroshima new 36Cl measurements were performed at the accelerator laboratory of LMU and TUM. Several granite samples from Hiroshima at distances between 590m and 1475m from the epicenter were collected, prepared and measured by AMS. This new measurements show no significant discrepancies to the DS86 calculations for thermal neutron fluences. The fast neutron fluence will be measured via the reaction 39K(n,p)39Ar. Argon is extracted by heating up to 1400 C. This processing is performed at MPI-Chemie Mainz. The 39Ar activity will be measured by low-level proportional counters at the Universität Bern.
