Nonsequential double ionization of helium in low-frequnency laser fields — •Arne Heinrich, Maciej Lewenstein, and Anna Sanpera — Institut fuer Theoretische Physik, Appelstr. 2, D-30167 Hannover, Germany
We present an analytic theory of helium in a low-frequency laser field, which can easily be generalized to arbitrary situations. This theory extends a model presented by Maciej Lewenstein to describe harmonic generation to two particles in order to describe the nonsequential double ionization of helium.
