Organic semiconductors are attractive alternatives to silicon technology for low-end circuits and large-area display applications. We have developed all-organic, integrated circuits which are manufactured by spin coating and lithography. Potential applications, such as RF transponders and display drivers were successfully demonstrated. Experiments currently aim at understanding the underlying device physics, such as e.g. charge transport in the semiconductor and the mechanisms responsible for device degradation.
