Ultrafast FADC Multiplexer for MAGIC-II — •Razmik Mirzoyan, Juan Cortina, and Eckart Lorenz — Max-Planck-Institute for Physics, Föhringer Ring 6, 80805 München

Ultrafast FADCs are really expensive. We are developing a multiplexing scheme which can allow one in common trigger mode to read out multiple signal channels into a single FADC module. The key element of the multiplexer is a very fast electronic switch of analog signals. Multiplexing can be an economically priced solution for digitization of hundreds of ultrafast signal channels. We envisage to use the multiplexing scheme as a future upgrade of the MAGIC telescope or for the for the next large diameter telescopes.
