The interplay between phase separation, dewetting and micro-phase separation offers possible routes for the creation of nano-structured polymer surfaces. The regime of extremely thin films on the order of the radius of gyration is addressed [1, 2]. With advanced scattering techniques like grazing incidence small angle scattering and complementary real space techniques like SFM a determination of the morphology is achieved. Thus the topography as well as the chemical composition were determined as a function of key parameters like chemical potential or film thickness. A controlled design of tailor-made nanoscopic structures results.
