c–Axis transport in YBa2Cu3O7−x/PrBa2Cu3O7−x superlattices — •Hernán Rodríguez and Hermann Adrian — Institut für Physik, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität, 55099 Mainz

The objetive of this work is to check the influence of the superlattices structures on the superconducting density of states of high temperature superconductors. High quality (YBa2Cu3O7−x/PrBa2Cu3O7−x) superlattices structures have been prepared by high pressure DC sputtering.

We have investigated the transport properties across the PBCO barrier. The shape of the voltage and temperature dependences of the conductance could be explained by the model of quasiparticle resonant tunneling via localized states proposed by Glazman and Matveev[1].
