Use of transversely polarized e+e beams to study the triple gauge couplings — •Filip Franco-Sollova1, Klaus Desch2, Rolf-Dieter Heuer2, and Wolfgang Menges21DESY, Notkestrasse 85, 22603 Hamburg — 2Institut für Experimentalphysik, Universität Hamburg, Luruper Chaussee 149, 22761 Hamburg

A study of triple-gauge-boson coupling measurements at the TESLA linear collider will be presented. For transverse polarization in both beams a dependence on the azimuthal angle φ for the cross section should be observed. In particular, sensitivity to CP-violating couplings is expected. The study is focused on the analysis of the semi-leptonic decay channel for W-pair production in e+e annihilation using transversely polarized beams with √s=500 GeV. A first estimation of the sensitivity to the couplings will be shown and a comparison with results obtained using longitudinal polarization will be given.
