The ATLAS Detector Control System (DCS) is largely based on industry standard components, protocols, and software packages: CAN bus, OPC server, and the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system PVSS. This presentation covers the development and tests of DCS components for the liquid argon purity monitors and the Level-1 calorimeter trigger.
