Mixed isotope helium clusters are very weakly bound objects, whose properties depend on the quantum statistics and masses of the constituents. These small clusters exhibit a number of magic stabilities resulting from spin pairing effects in the 3He constituents. Molecular beams of 4Hem3Hen clusters have been analyzed using the matter-wave diffraction technique. Clusters with (m,n) = (2,1), (2,2), (3,1), (3,2), (4,1), (4,2), (4,3), (5,1), (5,2), (6,1) could be identified experimentally for the first time and provide a confirmation for their predicted stabilities [1,2]. The clusters are also being investigated using deflection in a strong inhomogeneous magnetic field.
