D*µ Correlations in Photoproduction Events at HERA — •Angela Lucaci-Timoce — c/o FH1 DESY, Notkestr. 85, 22607 Hamburg, Germany

Heavy flavors events in the photoproduction regime (Q2<1 GeV2) are studied with the H1 detector at the ep collider HERA. The initial qq pair, which is produced mainly in the boson-gluon fusion process, is tagged by reconstructing a D* meson in the final state and a µ from semileptonic decays. A umber of variables are defined to describe the D*µ system: the transverse momentum pt(D*µ), pseudorapidity η(D*µ), rapidity y(D*µ) and azimuthal angle Δφ(D*µ). These variables can be related to the ones of the qq pair and detailed investigation of the production dynamics is possible.

Results of data and Monte Carlos studies done with programs that implement different evolution equations (Pythia, based on the DGLAP equation, and Cascade, based on CCFM), will be presented.
