Within the american Next Generation Simulation Program (NGSIM) several datasets were made, where the trajectory of every single car on a highway segment of 1000 m were measured. These datasets build a good basis of time-series-analysis. The method how to analyze the trajectories in a probabilistic way and investigate quantities which discribe the situation on the observed road will be presented.
