The interest in frustrated 2D quantum spin system is increasing as novel system have been discovered that enlarge the parameter space from 2D AF to mixed AF/FM systems. We report Raman scattering results on Li2VOSiO4, Pb2VO(PO4)2, and (Sr,Ba)ZnVO(PO4)2 to compare the effect of the local structure on the resulting AF and AF/FM couplings.
