Proton hexality from an anomalous flavour U(1) — •Marc Thormeier — SPhT, CEA-Saclay, 91191 Gif-sur-Yvette, Frankreich
I present the construction of minimalistic U(1)X Froggatt-Nielsen models which give rise to a recently suggested low-energy discrete gauge Z6-symmetry, proton hexality (the proton is thus stable). Having three generations of right-handed neutrinos, with the proper choice of X-charges we can obtain viable neutrino masses. Furthermore one can find scenarios such that no X-charged hidden sector superfields are needed, which allows calculation of the Kač-Moody levels and gstring from a bottom-up perspective. The only mass scale apart from Mgrav is msoft.
