Organic FETs with high-κ dielectric — •Florian Roth, Kerstin Keller, and Michael Huth — University Frankfurt, Max-von-Laue-Str. 1, 60438 Frankfurt am Main

Organic thin films of small molecules such as CuPc or BEDT-TTF (ET) were grown by organic molecular beam deposition. Using an in-situ shadow mask technique field effect transistors in the inverted MISFET structure were prepared. To investigate their electronic properties for charge carrier densities up to 1013cm−2 in the active layer a high-κ dielectric layer was employed. In this context SrTiO3 layers were grown by rf-sputtering and characterized by x-ray diffraction. Furthermore, their temperature dependent dielectric properties were determined.
