Direct photon emission in heavy-ion collisions is calculated within the relativistic microscopic transport model UrQMD. We study the hadronic contributions to the direct photon spectra as well as prompt (pQCD-) photon emission. Detailed comparison to the measurements by the PHENIX-collaboration are also undertaken.
