Strange baryon production in Ni+Ni collision at 1.91 AGeV — •Yapeng Zhang — Physikalisches Institut der Universität Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Deutschland

Strangeness production in heavy ion collision is one of the most active research topics in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics, since strange hardons are expected to give information about hot and dense nuclear matter. In addition, the heavy-ion collision at energies around 1-2 AGeV provide a unique way to study the hyperon-nucleon (YN) interaction, due to the small relative momentum for the particles originating from the fireball.

In this presentation, we present the production of Λ-hyperon in Ni+Ni collision at 1.91 AGeV measured with the FOPI detector including newly installed TOF-RPC barrel at the SIS18 of GSI, the mass resolution of Λ is improved 0.2 MeV compared to previous result. In the invariant mass distribution of Λ−p pairs, a structure is observed for the first time at a mass of 2.13 GeV, indicating the production of a strange dibaryon.
