ATLAS Forward Detectors for Central Exclusive Production — •Anatoli Astvatsatourov, Sabrina Darmawi, Michael Düren, Daniel Pelikan, Felix Pfeiffer, Hasko Stenzel, and Weilin Yu — II. Physikalisches Institut, Universität Gießen

Central exclusive Higgs and dilepton production in diffractive processes can be tagged by near-to-beam detectors at LHC. It is planned to install such detectors in-between the LHC magnets at 220 m and 420 m downstream the ATLAS interaction point. These detectors are designed as an assembly of tracking and time of flight systems which will reach very small proton scattering angles and give the possibility to distinguish vertex positions of multiple interactions at high luminosities. The current design and simulation results of these detectors will be reported.
