Usage is the most crucial component of the GRID infrastructures at the Tier-1 site and the whole cloud.The monitoring system consists of two components. A billing log exporter is a tool to export the huge amount of billing data from the standard billing log-files provided by dCache into a MySQL database. The billing logs provide information for each file access in dCache (time stamp, user, pathname, access protocol). As a user frontend a web monitoring system has been set up to keep track of the file access statistics. It provides direct monitoring of file access and I/O throughput by protocol over time, but also more complex queries such as a ranking of files or datasets by access frequency in given time-periods can be performed.
