Triggers for the Multi-Jet Analysis in the ATLAS experiment — •Luz Stella Gomez Fajardo — DESY, Platanenallee 6, 15738 Zeuthen

Jet triggers in the ATLAS experiment are one of the most important issues in the multi-jets physics analysis, since they are a prerequisite for selecting events containing at least two jets per event in the high transverse momentum region. This talk summarises the behaviour of the jet total energy triggers including turn on curves and efficiencies as a function of the sum of the jet transverse momenta in the event. Moreover, we present some Monte-Carlo comparisons using different jet definitions for those jets reconstructed by the trigger selection. The analysis shown here is based on 2010 data recorded from January until November with an integrated luminosity range between 0.4 and 14500 nb−1.
