(contribution withdrawn) Performance of a b-tagging algortihm based on the reconstruction of multiple vertices — •Andrey Khoroshilov, Tatjana Lenz, Thorsten Boek, Peter Maettig, and Marcello Barisonzi — Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany

The long decay length of heavy hadrons provides a powerful way to distinguish b-quark jets from light flavor jets. Most of the current b-tagging algorythms are based on impact parameter significance and multivariate analysis of kinematical distributions such as invariant mass of secondary vertex. The ZVTOP tagger in addition to above-mentioned jet parameters uses valuable information recieved due to reconstruction of multiple decay vertices in a single jet including decay chain B->J/Psi->X. This gives us the belief that our algorithm will have a large light jet rejection rate in comparison with currently available taggers.
