Response functions of correlated materials — •Amin Kiani Sheikhabadi1 and Eva Pavarini1,21Institute for Advanced Simulation (IAS), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Jülich, Germany — 2Peter Grünberg Institut (PGI), Forschungszentrum Jülich, Jülich, Germany

Two-particle correlation functions provide a bridge between experimentals and theory. For strongly correlated systems, response functions can be determined with the LDA+DMFT method. In this approach the response functions are extracted from the local two-particle vertex and the local Green’s functions. Here we use such method and a Hirsch-Fye QMC impurity solver to calculate the response functions of correlated transition-metal oxides. As representative case, we present results for KCuF3.
