Neutrino emission from GRB fireballs, revised — •Svenja Hümmer, Philipp Baerwald, and Walter Winter — Institut für theoretische Physik und Astrophysik, Universität Würzburg, Am Hubland, D-97074 Würzburg, Germany
We present a revision of the analytic fireball neutrino computation estimating the neutrino spectrum from an observed gamma-ray spectrum. In this talk we illustrate the origin of the large corrections which arise. Then we use a numerical calculation to show the effect of a more sophisticated treatment of photohadronic interactions. As a next step we demonstrate the impact of our results on the IceCube-40 analysis and quantify uncertainties in the neutrino flux prediction.
