A multi-threaded implementation of a semi-Lagrangian scheme for the numerical solution of the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system is presented. We discuss a scalable multi-threaded implementation that performs well in a many-core environment. Applications and bechmarks are presented for high-harmonic generation from overdense laser-plasma interaction and parametric laser-pulse amplification. Comparisons to standard PIC simulations are presented and discussed.
