Preparations for the 13 TeV LHC run 2 data analysis of the H->WW->lnulnu process with the ATLAS detector — •Phuong Dang, Karsten Koeneke, and Karl Jakobs for the ATLAS collaboration — Institute of Physics, University of Freiburg, Germany

After a successful first run with 7-8 TeV center-of-mass energy, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is currently being upgraded for the next run with 13-14 TeV. At the same time, the ATLAS experiment is also developing its detectors and analysis framework for the second run. A new optimisation of the selection criteria of the gluon-gluon-fusion induced H->WW*->lnulnu process will be presented, considering the significant changes of the production cross-sections of signal and background processes, as well as changed pileup and detector conditions. These studies are based on the new simulation and the new software that was developed over the last two years.
