Overview of Electron Performances from Run I - Identification to Isolation at ATLAS Detector — •Baishali Dutta, Kristin Lohwasser, and Klaus Mönig — Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron, Zeuthen, Germany

Most physics analyses carried out using the data collected by the ATLAS experiment in pp collision at centre-of-mass energies of √s = 7 and 8 TeV need a deep understanding of electron reconstruction and identification requirements. In addition, isolation criteria are usually imposed on electrons to further reject other particles mis-identified as electrons. Impact parameter requirements play an important role to select tracks compatible with the primary vertex of interaction.

A detailed study of electron performances (efficiencies, data to MC correction factors) on Run I data, using the above mentioned selection requirements for electrons, will be presented together with an outlook at the expectations for Run II.
