Air showers reconstruction from the radio LDF — •Dmitriy Kostunin for the Tunka-Rex collaboration — KIT

The distribution of radio amplitudes from air showers on ground is described by the lateral distribution function (LDF). We investigate features of the radio LDF and its connection to air showers parameters such as energy and shower maximum using CoREAS simulations. The input parameters of the simulations fit to the geometry of the Tunka-Rex experiment. The developed methods for the reconstruction of shower parameters are applied to Tunka-Rex measurements. Finally, we compare parameters reconstructed by Tunka-Rex with the reconstruction of the Tunka-133 Cherenkov detector.
