Effective Field Theory for the Λnn System — •Fabian Hildenbrand and Hans-Werner Hammer — Institut für Kernphysik, TU Darmstadt, 64289 Darmstadt, Germany

Because of the recent results from the HypHI collaboration at GSI, the question of whether the Λnn system is bound or not has received considerable interest recently. We construct an effective field theory for the Λnn system without explicit pions. An asymptotic analysis of the resulting scattering equations reveals that a Λnn three-body force is required for consistent renormalization. In this talk, we present first results of our analysis with a special focus on the sensitivity on the neutron-neutron-scattering length.
