Magnetic properties of La2−xSrxCuO4: LDA+(C)DMFT study — •Amin Kiani and Eva Pavarini — Institute for Advanced Simulation, Forschungszentrum Jülich, 52425 Jülich, Germany

High temperature superconductivity in hole-doped cuprates is one of the most intriguing phenomena discovered in strongly correlated materials. In the normal phase, hole-doping causes the gradual destruction of antiferromagnetism and, in some cases, the appearance of incommensurate magnetic instabilities. In this work we study the magnetic properties of one of the representative family of materials, La2−xSrxCuO4. We calculate the static lattice spin susceptibility χ(q,T) by using the local density approximations+dynamical mean field theory (LDA+DMFT) approach and the local vertex approximation. We discuss the results as a function of doping in the interval 0≤ x ≤ 0.4 and investigate the non-local effects on χ(q,T) via the cellular DMFT (CDMFT) approach.
