We study the phase diagram of the negative-hopping Bose-Hubbard model on the triangular lattice by using the parallel-tempering algorithm in the two-dimensional density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method. For the integer-1 filling, we found a first-order transition from the chiral superfluild phase to the normal insulating phase where both U(1) and Z2 symmetry are spontaneously broken. Away from the integer-1 filling, we found a new phase corresponding to a kind of novel bond order. As the chemical potential increases, the negative-hopping Bose-Hubbard model undergoes two first-order transitions instead.
