Interplay between heat flux and magnetic topology in EAST scrape-off layer — •Marion Dostal1, Yongliang Li2, Yungfeng Liang1, and Chaofeng Sang21Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, Institut für Energie- und Klimaforschung - Plasmaphysik, Partner of the Trilateral Euregio Cluster (TEC), 52425 Jülich, Germany — 2Institut of plasma physics, Chinese academy of science, China

Steady state operation of ITER and future power plants will require a detailed understanding of plasma-wall interaction. These plasma-wall interactions, in special particle and heat transport, depends on the magnetic topology. Lots of experiments have demonstrated the essential role of this interplay. To investigate this interplay, measurements of electron and ion parameters in the scrape-off layer of the tokamak EAST where done by using an advanced retarding field analyzer. Further the particle and heat flux are simulated by using the B2-Eirene code. Finally the interplay between heat flux and magnetic topology was investigated.
