Search for the Hb b and Hcc decay in associated production with vector bosons using ATLAS run 2 data — •Elisabeth Schopf, Norbert Wermes, Tatjana Lenz, Götz Gaycken, Vadim Kostyukhin, Stephan Hageböck, Ruth Jacobs, Alessandra Betti, Alexander Melzer, and Eckhard von Törne — Physikalisches Institut, Nussallee 12, 53115 Bonn

After the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 in the γγ, ZZ and WW decay channels the hunt for the Higgs boson in fermionic decay channels continues up to this day. In particular, no evidence was found using LHC run 1 data in the decay channel with the highest branching ratio of 56%, Hbb.

This talk will present the latest ATLAS results of the V(Hbb) search using 13.2 fb−1 LHC data collected at a collision energy of 13 TeV. It will introduce the multivariate analysis that was utilised as well as new ideas and techniques for the complete LHC run 2 dataset. In addition, a new analysis searching for the V(Hcc) decay is introduced and an outlook will be given.
