Search for the decay Bs0D*+D*− with the LHCb experimentKevin Heinicke, Philipp Ibis, •Jan Langer, Antje Mödden, and Margarete Schellenberg — Experimentelle Physik 5, TU Dortmund

The LHCb experiment is dedicated to search for New Physics beyond the Standard Model through precision measurements of B-meson decays. This analysis aims to observe the decay Bs0D*+D*− and measure its branching fraction. In order to reduce systematic uncertainties, the branching fraction is measured relative to the decay B0D*+D*−. A next step of the analysis could be a measurement of the time dependent CP violation in B0D*+D*− decays. As this decay involves a pseudoscalar meson decaying into two vector mesons, an angular analysis is planned.

In this talk the current status of the analysis will be presented, using the full dataset of the LHCb experiment corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1.
