In this poster, the design of a dynamically tunable accordion optical lattice is presented, which was developed for the Strontium quantum gas microscope experiment in the Tarruell group. The design is expected to enable dynamic tuning of the vertical confinement from 9kHz to 25kHz, corresponding to a change in lattice spacing from 1.9um to 5.1um, while remaining below 80Hz in the horizontal direction. The functionality of the accordion lattice is demonstrated in a dedicated test setup, validating its performance and tunability.
This technical advancement opens new possibilities for exploring strongly correlated SU(N) symmetric systems in tailored 2D geometries under a quantum gas microscope
