Nuclear rainbow scattering has been observed over a wide energy range in the System 16O+16O.Using a complex potential of with a squared Woods-Saxon shape we desribe the elastic and inelastic scattering at many energies(250,350,480,and 704MeV) as well as the one-neutron transfer16O(16O,15O)17O.The observation and succesfull description of nuclear rainbow phenomena in the transfer channel confirms the interpretation of the large angle scattering cross section as originating from deeply penetrating refractive scattering processes
