For the dynamic systems at the criticality starting from an initial state with very high temperature and small magnetization, it was recently discovered that besides the well known universal behaviour in the long-time regime, there exist universality and scaling even at early times [1]. Numerically we confirmed the universal short-time scaling behaviour for the 2-D Ising model and Potts model. Critical initial increase of the magnetization is observed [2]. The new short-time dynamic exponent is determined [3,4]. Furthermore, a general scale invariance has been found in the short-time critical dynamics [5]. Based on the scaling relation in the short-time dynamics, new ways for the determination of the critical point and all the static exponents as well as the long-time dynamic exponent have been proposed, either from the power law behaviour of the observables in the beginning of the time evolution [3] or from the finite size scaling [6].
