Investigation of the D(e,e’p)n reaction for high missing momenta [1] — •R. Böhm — Institut für Kernphysik, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, J.-J.-Becher-Weg 45, D-55099 Mainz

At the Mainz microtron MAMI, the D(e,e’p)n reaction was investigated for high missing momenta with the aim of separating the structure functions of the crosss section. We have done this coincidence measurement using spectrometers A and B of the three-spectrometer facility together with a liquid deuterium target that allowed for high beam currents. We measured four different settings for the 4-Momentum transfer Q2 and the energy transfer ω. The 4-Momentum-Transfer varied from 5.0 fm−2 down to 1.9 fm−2, the energy transfer changed from 100 MeV up to 360 MeV. The overall variation for the transversal polarisation of the virtual photon ranged from 0.2 to 0.8. The 3-Momentum transfer was fixed at 450 MeV/c. We measured in parallel kinematics with missing momenta from 17 MeV/c to 350 MeV/c. First results of this measurement will be presented.
