Evidence for exotic meson production in pp-annihilation, Hybrid- and Glueballcandidates from the Crystal Barrel experiment — •Chr. Straßburger — Institut für Strahlen- und Kernphysik der Universität Bonn, Nußallee 14-16, 53115 Bonn

The Crystal Barrel Collaboration has presented strong experimental evidence for the f0(1500) in different decay modes. The main foci of the present analysis are the ρ ρ, σ σ and K K-decay modes. The impact of the Crystal Barrel results on the spectrum of scalar mesons and the gluonic nature of the f0(1500) will be discussed in detail. In two other data sets (π0 π0 η and π0 π η) evidence for a meson with the exotic quantum numbers 1+−, decaying into π η, has been found. This meson, the former ρ is still controversial. Some scattering experiments reported evidence, others explained the visible structure as a cusp-effect with non-resonant behaviour. Evidence for a resonant phase motion of the π η-P-wave from the Crystal Barrel analysis will be presented.
