At KVI we performed a few experiments to study nucleon-nucleon bremsstrahlung starting with the proton-proton system. In order to complete the picture of understanding nucleon-nucleon bremsstrahlung it is necessary to measure pn bremsstrahlung along with pp bremsstrahlung. Due to experimental difficulties this is usually done by measuring proton-deuteron bremsstrahlung. Most of the experiments in the past are inclusive in the sense that only the energy and angular distributions of the outgoing photons have been measured, implying an integration over all particles and reaction channels. We have performed, for the first time, an exclusive experiment in which the 2-body final state γ3He, 3-body final state pdγ and the 4-body final state ppnγ have been measured simultaneously. Cross sections and analyzing powers of these reactions were measured with the Small-Angle Large-Acceptance Detector (SALAD) and the Two Arm Photon Spectrometer (TAPS). The 190 MeV polarized-proton beam of the AGOR cyclotron and a LD2 target were used. Results on cross-sections and analyzing powers will be presented.
