Quasi–phasematched Crystals in Diode–pumped Lasers — •F. Laurell — Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Schweden

Two of the more important recent achievements in the laser area are the development of technology for quasi–phasematched frequency conversion and diode pumped solid–state lasers. This presentation will describe how these now are combined to give efficient user–friendly coherent light sources through out the visible spectrum and the mid–IR.
