The Anderson transition in three dimensions in a randomly varying magnetic flux ist investigated in detail by using the transfer matrix method with high accuracy. Both systems with and without an additional random scalar potential are considered. Our data suggest that the critical behavior is the same in both cases, namely ν =1.45±0.09. This coincides with previous results for the case of a homogeneous magnetic field. Thus, the conventional classification of universality classes due to symmetry of the disorder-induced metal-insulator transition is supported by these results.
