We investigate the heavy quark pair cross section in hadronic collisions at very high energy in the framework of the kt factorization approach. The quark pair production is described by the next-to-leading BFKL effective vertices. Using several unintegrated gluon distributions, we numerically evaluate the resulting differential cross sections.
