We have measured the magnetic susceptibility, the uniform magnetization M in magnetic fields up to 16T, the µSR, and the resistivity ρ of several series of Zn (0 ≤ z ≤ 0.25) and Sr (0 ≤ x < 0.05) doped La2CuO4. The dilution of the Cu spin lattice by non-magnetic Zn impurities causes an increase of the Néel temperature in lightly hole-doped compounds. This increase of TN correlates with an increase of ρ, i.e. a decrease of the charge mobility. Moreover, the charge carrier motion strongly influences the temperature dependence of the staggered magnetization which we obtain from the µSR data as well as from an analysis of the non-linear field dependence of M. In addition, the latter allows to analyze details of the magnetic coupling and the temperature dependence of the magnetic correlation length. (supported by the DFG through SFB 341)
