SPECTROSCOPY OF NEON AND SODIUM LIKE MULTICHARGED IONS AND Ne-LIKE PLASMA AS AN ACTIVE MEDIUM FOR X RAY LASING AND HOT PLASMA DIAGNOSTICS — •Yuliya Chernyakova — Inst.Appl.Math., P.O.Box 108, Odessa-9, 65009, Ukraine

Laborotary X ray investigations supplemented recently with new ideas concerning a resonant photoionization as the pumping mechanism. Neon like scheme for lasing represented to be one of the promising one. In this light the precise calculations of the energies and transition probabilities, excitation cross-sections are of a great interest. We present the results of theoretical relativistic ab initio perturbation theory calculation for energy spectra of the 3-3, 3-4 electron and 2-2 vacancy transitions for the neon like isoelectronic sequence with nuclear charge from 21 up to 92 and autoionization states for the sodium like ions of Ar, Ti, Fe, Se, Mo. Calculations are carried out within the new ab initio version, generalizing the known relativistic perturbation theory method with the zeroth empirical model potential approximation by Ivanov-Ivanova. To construct an optimal zeroth basis we use ab initio QED procedure, within which the lowest order gauge dependent contribution for certain class of photon propagator calibration is minimized. Dielectronic satellites to resonance 2-3 transitions of Ne-like ions are suggested as an instrument for diagnostics of hot plasma. It is carried out a detailed analysis of data to find the most optimal transitions for X ray lazing.
