Non-critical Properties of the λφ4 Theory from the Thermal Renormalization Group — •Roland Schneider — Technische Universität München
The thermal mass and coupling in λφ4 theory with unbroken and spontaneously broken Z2-symmetry are calculated at finite temperature within the non-perturbative thermal renormalization group (TRG), both for small and large values of the coupling constant. The numerical results are compared with those obtained using perturbation theory and resummation methods.
