Excitonic photoluminescence of a homogeneously illuminated sample with a remotely doped AlGaAs/GaAs heterojunction has been found to be strongly inhomogeneous in space if external current is applied additionaly to a perpendicular magnetic field. A stripe of a quenched PL-intensity has been observed along one of the sample edges, accompanied in some samples by a thin bright contour. The position of the dark stripe changes according to the direction of the Lorentz force, its width varies synchronously with Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations. The influence of the illumination intensity and the sample current has been studied, as well as the role of a parallel real-space conductivity.
