It is shown that dimensional reduction of the 3-dimensional
NT=2 Blau-Thompson model to D=2, i.e., the novel topological
twist of the 2-dimensional N=8 SYM theory, provides an example
of a Hodge-type cohomological theory: The generators of the
topological shift, the co-shift and the gauge symmetry,
(Qa,∗Qa,G), together with a discrete duality operation
are completely analogous to the de Rham operators,
(d, δ, Δ), and the Hodge ⋆−operation.
