Quantum information with identical particles — •Kai Eckert1, Jordi Mompart1, Dagmar Bruß1, John Schliemann2, Xuexi Yi3, and Maciej Lewenstein11Institute of Theoretical Physics, University of Hannover, Appelstrasse 2, D-30167 Hannover, Germany — 2Department of Physics, The University of Texas, Austin,TX 78712 — 3Institute of Theoretical Physics, Northeast Normal University, Changchun 130024, China

In a variety of experimental realizations of quantum information processing the indistinguishable nature of the involved particles becomes important. We characterize quantum correlations in such systems, taking into account the statistical properties of the particles. Furthermore we analyze the role of these quantum correlations in concrete physical implementations.
